Naturally improve the appearance of your nose without changing the features that make you you
About Rhinoplasty Surgery
While the majority of my patients choose this procedure to enhance the appearance of their noses, others wish to correct their breathing or need revision surgery from a previous rhinoplasty. Whatever the reason for considering this procedure, I will work with you to create a customized treatment plan that takes into account your cultural background, age, facial features, and goals for the procedure. The results of rhinoplasty can have a powerful effect on your confidence by providing natural-looking improvement that enhances the beauty of your face as a whole.
Men and women over the age of 18, who desire an improvement in the appearance or function of their nose.
A rhinoplasty can address all parts of the nose including, the tip, bridge, nostrils, and septum. This can all be done naturally so your appearance is improved but you still look like yourself.
It is important to be in good health prior to surgery. In some cases, we may request that you see an Ear, Nose, and Throat doctor to rule out airway or other breathing issues. If you are being treated for any chronic health condition, such as high blood pressure, we will require surgical clearance from your primary care physician prior to surgery. For surgeries requiring general anesthesia, a current EKG and basic blood work are also required. All of these precautions will contribute to a swift recovery.
Recovery from a rhinoplasty is rarely very painful but there is definite downtime. You can expect bruising and difficulty breathing through your nose for 1-2 weeks. Sleeping at an incline and icing as directed will help reduce swelling and minimize bruising. A pair of large dark sunglasses will be your favorite accessory the first week after surgery.
